Bora Bora by Laurent Impeduglia
Soft cover.
Full colour, 32 pages,
Laurent Impeduglia (Belgium, 1974) is left-handed and was born on a Friday 13th, just after midnight. Living in Liège, and is a painter. His contemporary paintings are narrative, popular, symbolic and will always include humor and
spirituality. On a dirtied white background, alchimic and theological references are juxtaposed with B movie monsters and super heros. The composition is staged in a colourfull arcade game decorum, and executed from an rough cavalier perspective.
Have a nice stay in Bora-Bora !
Nur Du! by Claudia Peña Salinas and Denise Schatz
Another sweet Miniature Garden zine release. Sewn bound and beautifully xeroxed with luv.
From the artists:
We wanted to mark some kind of remembrance for the summer that we spent in the empty apartment on Reichenberger Straße. We gathered all the objects we had collected over the last several weeks and took them to the library. We placed them side-by-side on the copy machine. The librarian was kind but it was impossible to get away with making copies of everything. The shapes were odd and she grew increasingly suspicious as we pulled bracelets, rocks, lighters, bobby pins, and balls of twine out of our Kaiser Supermarket bag. Later we went back to the house and photographed everything on a mirror that the previous tenants had left behind.
MAZES
MAZES
Mazes presents the work of various artists each responding to the theme of the maze. Some responded to the structure of the maze as a spatial parameter for exploration, others took a more subverted approach, presenting work on sound waves, repetitious imagery, satellite mapping or fixed broken plates. The publication includes a fold out poster by Rachel Domm. Contributers include: Hope Hilton, Casey Cook, Denise Schatz, Mia Nolting, Ariel Dill, Found Image, Natalie Payne Beall, Christian Sampson, Claudia Pena Salinas, Michael Brady, Patricia Valencia, Raphael Taylor, Robin Cameron, Hana Pesut, Sarah Karp, Bree Apperley, and David Horvitz.

Pot Pourri de Costes (Le Dernier Cri)
Jean-Louis Costes is an infamous French performance artist whose live shows since the late 80s have involved scaring audiences with a barrage of flung feces, urine, tortured screaming, public sex and religious flagellation. Know as the “French GG Allin,” which to some degree could be true but also doesn’t give his more varied artful performances their due. This collection of photos, drawings, and writing is a great compendium of sorts, while certainly just scratching the surface of this complicated artists’ oeuvre, it definitely is a good primer and a must for any fan. Beautifully packaged by the French underground publisher Le Dernier Cri, this team up makes complete sense. Comes with a good “best of” type CD of Costes’ musical output, which is a synth-driven noisey experience.
Phi Hung Xang Thor by Julien Rictus
A super dense adventure comic in a huge, gorgeously silkscreened art book. Published by venerable French maniacs Le Dernier Cri, this book is a perfect addition to your underground art book collection. Monsters, swords, creatures on bmx bikes, punks, decaying city streets, fantastical landscapes, all drawn in Julien’s hyper detailed and very raw style. Like, seriously whoa! Its in French but you don’t need to really read it as much you let the drawing guide you through.
silkscreen, 32 pages, edition of only 200 copies.
of course its hella limited!
Judex by BEX (Le Dernier Cri)

ITO by Yann Taillefer (Le Dernier Cri)
ITO is an instructional manual for an alien universe. It contains lovely full scale, birds eye view illustrations of an entire process of creation, through birth, the human form, the mold of skin, interacting with others, consuming, war, and death. This simply, yet elegantly drawn world by Yann is a definite microcosm of our own world, and a fantastic journey into the surreal.
32 pages ,offset printed with a beautiful silksreen cover / ed of 500
